Children's Programs

The Children's Department was added to the library in 1988. Since that time, the Friends of the Library have funded "Mr. McGregor's Garden," shown in the photograph.

Many services for children are provided, such as a six-week storytime session in the fall and winter for children 3-5 years of age.

The library also sponsors the Book Club for school-age children.

 

Razzle-Dazzle Readers (1st-3rd grade), meet on the 4th Friday of September, October, January, February, and March from 3:45-4:45 p.m.

 

Radical Readers (4th and 5th grade), meet on the 4th Tuesday of September, October, January, February, and March from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
