Library cards are availabe free to city residents. Renewal is necessary after a period of three years in order for the library to maintain updated information on patrons.
Children are eligible for a card after enrolling in kindergarten.
There is a small charge for persons living outside the service area. Renewal for fee cards are necessary after a period of one year.
In order to obtain a card, a resident must come to the library in person and show verification of his or her current address and personal information.
Identification can be verified by bringing showing one of the following:

Current Driver License

Current I.D. Card w/address
or two (2) of the following:

Utility bill (within 60 days)

Rent receipt (within 60 days)

Imprinted personal check

Valid current vehicle registration

Self-addressed postcard mailed by library and returned by the patron

Telephone directory listing (must show current address)
