Web Publishing Instructions
Overview:
OneNet provides it’s customers with the capabilities of World Wide Web (WWW) Hosting. The customer is responsible for creating, editing, maintaining the web pages. OneNet provides Dial-up customers with 10 MB of storage space. Customers can utilize a dedicated FTP program to publish web pages to their website. FTP programs will give customers the capabilities to rename or delete files, or create and remove directories.
You need to use a program specifically designed for creating web pages and transferring them to the server via FTP. There are several available on the internet at FTP sites.
Accessing Published Web Pages
OneNet dial-up customer URL’s are http://www.onenet.net/~username
Required Information to Publish Web Pages
The server you will publish to is ftp://www.onenet.net The directory will be www The username is the username provided to you by OneNet The password is the the same as your email password
