OneNet H.323 Dialing Plan:
- H.323 Alphabetic Alias:
- All lowercase, no spaces and no crazy characters
except the underscore _ .
It is important to note that aliases must be absolutely unique or the
registration will fail.

(Please note that some special purpose registrations that do not follow our naming convention may appear.)
- Public Schools tend to be: schoolname_ps_room#
- Technical Centers tend to be: schoolname_tc_location(town)_room#
- Higher Ed tend to be: schoolname_dept_room#
If the unit is a rollabout system, then vs1, ts1, pt1 or gal1 (incrementing
to vs2, vs3 etc) is substituted for room#.
vs1=Polycom ViewStation, ts1=Intel TeamStation, pt1=PictureTel, gal1=Vtel Galaxy...
e.164 numeric alias:
Use the IP address of your H.323 unit, without dots- just one big number. Fill each octet to three digits using zeros.
The e.164 alias should always be 12 digits long.
For Example: if the IP address of your unit is: 164.58.253.184, then the e.164 numeric alias will be: 164058253184 ; notice the 0 added to make the .58 octet three digits (058).
