Single-User Dial-up

Single User Dial-up occurs when a single, qualified individual dials into a OneNet modem bank using any type of analog modem up to v.34 (33.6Kbps) capacity and any of the following communications protocols: asynchronous, SLIP, PPP or ARAP. Dial-up connections are limited to a maximum of four (4) hours per session and may be disconnected after that time interval. Dial-up connections will also be terminated after 15 minutes of “idle time.” Users will be assigned a single e-mail account name under the OneNet domain. Disk storage using OneNet’s servers will be limited to 10 MB.
Although the customer’s cost of the dial-up is $15 per month, the cost must be paid on either a semiannual or annual basis as shown above. OneNet can no longer accept personal checks for services. Therefore, all payments for OneNet services must be made with a qualified purchase order.
OneNet dial-up access is not offered to individuals for personal use. Individuals desiring such services should contact a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP).
56Kbps Digital Circuit Dedicated Access

56Kbps Digital Circuit Dedicated Access rates apply to any dedicated serial connection to a OneNet router. This all-inclusive price includes the cost of the “tail circuit.” The client’s end connection must have a CSU/DSU unit and a router that are compatible with OneNet’s equipment. Purchase of these units is the client’s responsibility. OneNet recommends Cisco or Juniper routers for full compatibility, including network management and security. Routers and CSU/DSUs can be ordered on state contract through the appropriate vendors.
T-1 or DS-1 (1.544Mbps) Digital Circuit Dedicated Access

DS-3 or T-3 Digital Circuit Dedicated Access is subject to availability of service from a telecommunications provider.

OC-3 (155Mbps) Dedicated Access
