In terms of its role in OneNet's planning and priority setting, the OneNet Advisory Council will:

• Assist in the development of a vision of the scope, capacity and applications of digital networks in Oklahoma.

• Assist in the development of a mission statement for OneNet.

• Assist in the planning process, including the development of a strategic plan. Provide feedback to OneNet from various constituent groups.

• Communicate OneNet initiatives and issues to its constituents.

• Recommend the establishment of working groups, as needed, to address specific issues or applications.

• Serve as a general advisory body to the Chancellor and State Regents in matters related to OneNet.
