Exclusive - Internet2 is a research and development consortium led by over 190 U.S. universities working in partnership with industry and government to develop and deploy advanced network applications and technologies, accelerating the creation of tomorrow's Internet.

Only OneNet's education customers have access to the Internet2 K20 Initiative. This initiative brings together Internet2 member institutions, primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, libraries, and museums to get new technologies-advanced networking tools, applications, middleware, and content-into the hands of innovators, across all educational sectors in the United States, as quickly and as "connectedly" as possible.

Affordable - OneNet's rates are among the lowest in the nation. Equalized pricing enables OneNet to provide cost-effective access, regardless of customer location. Participation in OneNet is beneficial to education and government and is good for Oklahoma.

OneNet helps customers save money which helps grow the statewide network's infrastructure and network offerings - keeping Oklahoma as a leader in advanced telecommunications and videoconferencing.

Efficient - Video and data services are provided over same network.

There are over 2,000 videoconferencing endpoints on OneNet's network providing over 1,654 computer-based courses and 3,000 interactive video classes last year alone. In total, OneNet has been utilized to deliver 111,898 higher education credit hours during the 2001 academic year.

Flexible - Services can be customized to meet customer's technology needs and budget.

OneNet clients can request that OneNet host their email and Web sites at no additional cost - providing savings on internal equipment and staffing.

OneNet facilities have the capability to host enterprise solutions for agency and school applications - eliminating redundant equipment purchases and related costs.
